KFC comes to Rome!

KFC the fried chicken restaurant has finally opened in Rome in the shopping mall Roma Est!

Rome is the first opening of this chain in Italy before opening in Turin, Milan, Venice and Naples! images

I never thought i would see the day that one would open but here it is and im quite excited. We do have some fried chicken places in Rome but to me KFC beats them all. (specially with unlimited drinks)

Although they will be competeing with the other fast food chains here like Macdonalds and Burger King.

Apparently the chain did try to open back in the 70’s in Naples only to close again but some how i feel this time they will be here to stay!

I used to love to treat myself and my flatmate back in london to a family bucket from KFC and i cannot wait to try it here now in Rome.

My friend who today made the discovery had lunch there and im quite jealous of this fact!

They used to have a place in Milan (about 15 years ago) near the Brera area. It wasn’t really in the centre though, so I would have said a pretty bad place to have an outlet. Let’s see what they do this time. I do like a KFC Chicken Fillet burger myeslf 🙂

They had good coleslaw at the KFC near us. We’d buy it and not the chicken.
